Amazing, awe inspiring, exciting, challenging and brilliant!

A cutting-edge seminar delivered by TV confidence and charisma expert. Aimed at senior managers and leaders wanting to enhance their level of impact, gravitas and influence.

We have a very exciting list of delegates for my next seminar at The Globe on 25th March – from accountants to models to board directors to psychic mediums. We never include the delegates title or organisation on their name badge  so you never know if you are talking to the chairman of BT or Derek Accora!!

The Big Apple Experiment is generating more interest than I imagined – we received a load more submissions over the weekend. The results are astonishing! Can someones thoughts impact on physical reality? Why not view the evidence for yourself by logging onto my Facebook page.

Don’t forget to catch Kitchen Sink To Catwalk on the Bio Channel tomorrow night where you can see me build the confidence of six middle-aged ladies who are competing for a modelling contract.

Kitchen Sink To Catwalk – Episode 2

February 25th 2010 by Nikki Owen | Charisma on TV

I’m really enjoying Kitchen Sink to Catwalk, the programme that takes six middle-aged women and transforms them into catwalk models. As I mentioned last week, I worked with these girls for one day which you can see in episode 4 – hence my interest.

Anyway, back to last Tuesday’s episode – in the first task they had to do a casting for the pet food manufacturer , Sheba , which involved a close working relationship with cats! In my seminars I teach delegates techniques to help activate their inner confidence.  Learning how to feel comfortable in any situation automatically increases one’s external charisma. Would this work with cats!! Karen Seeberg was brilliant! Slipping off her shoes and curling her legs up onto the sofa, the cat bonded with her immediately. Even with the uncompromising camera lens looming over her, Karen was able to dazzle.

The next task involved working with a rather phallic piece of gym equipment for a Virgin Active  campaign. Feeling comfortable is the key and Angie, who spends a lot of time in the gym was able to project her personality to produce some stunning shots.

You can hear more about these girls experiences on BBC Radio Sussex & Surrey  interview that I did with both Sam and Angie (contestants from the show) last Monday.

Kitchen Sink to Catwalk – 1st Episode

February 17th 2010 by Nikki Owen | Charisma on TV

I managed to catch the opening episode of Kitchen Sink to Catwalk last night on the Sky Bio Channel.

Although I worked with these ladies (see episode 4), I was still intrigued to see them right at the beginning of their journey.

Would be interested to hear what you thought?

Are eccentric people charismatic?

February 16th 2010 by Nikki Owen | Eccentric

Talking to Paul Webb last week, a photographer who has worked with a raft of high profile people, and having listened to his interesting take on life I was left wondering whether eccentricity has a bearing on personal charisma.

This led me to try to think of individuals who were both quirky and charismatic. I could identify many who were quirky such as Vivienne Westwood, John McCririck, Ozzy Osbourne, Chris Eubank and Carol Thatcher, but I struggled to pinpoint people with both characteristics.

On further reflection it appears that some people cultivate a public persona which they believe will grab attention, but which does not necessarily reflect their inner selves. I concluded that perhaps it is when the true inner self is combined with a natural external persona, that charisma flows in abundance as we witness in pop superstar Sir Elton John? What do you think? We’d love to hear your thoughts.

In the meantime I’m left to ponder whether Rio Ferdinand will be able to match John Terry’s inspirational captaincy – unfortunately for John Terry’s wife charisma can bring its’ own baggage.

How would you like to take part in a really fun yet exciting experiment?  It’s so easy to do, yet at the same time potentially very powerful? Intrigued? Then read on!

Let me briefly explain the background. Experiments by Dr Masaru Emoto, although controversial, suggest that the water molecules in water crystals could be directly affected by our thoughts, words and feelings,  thus determining the shape of the crystal. Powerful stuff, especially when you consider that approximately 60% of our bodies are water!

So how can you help! Well, my apple experiment comprises of one apple cut in half where one half is placed in a jar labeled LOVE and the other half is placed in a jar labeled HATE. Every time I walk past the apples I’ll send them loving or hateful thoughts based on the labeled jar, then after 6 days I photograph both apple halves. The results have been astonishing! Try it for yourself and let me know how your experiments go! Click here to email me with your results – if you feel like attaching a photo of your experiment then that would be fantastic!

6 Days Hate/Love experiment

Difference between 2 halves after 6 days of hate and love

I will collate the results and let you know!

And that’s not all; how would you like to win the latest 8GB iPod Nano  for taking part? Simply send back your results by 30th April 2010 and you will be automatically  entered into The Big Apple Experiment prize draw.

Have a great week!

Nikki

I’m so excited! My training is featured in episode  4 of ‘ Kitchen Sink to Catwalk’, a new television programme on the Bio channel that begins on February 16th.

Six fabulous women, all aged over 40, compete for a chance to become the next big thing in modelling.

Without giving too much away (you’ll have to tune in on March 9th), I take them on a voyage of self-discovery at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre,  working on their self-esteem which ends with a dramatic finale!  This emotional transformation, as you can imagine, produced intense feelings as they embarked on a new career.

Whilst the ladies agreed that the exercises had thrown up  ‘the unexpected’, they all found it a very positive process. In the words of one contestant, “There are (so many) women like us who live on a daily basis without exploring the things (tasks) we did today”.

What our
clients say

Fantabulous = Fantastic and Fabulous. Helped me in knowing my true potential and unlimited energy.
