Sign upFor everyone who has ever wished they were more charismatic, most will have already resigned themselves to believing it is something you were born with, and a gift reserved for the lucky few.
Barack Obama, Princess Diana, Winston Churchill and Daniel Craig are just a few names most would associate with having charisma in abundance. Equally, there are many other well known names we might consider would benefit from a few lessons at ‘Charm School’ if only it were possible.
To possess charisma means that people are drawn to you. Charismatic people have a presence and gravitas that allows them to easily captivate the attention of others in both social and business situations. They are confident, self-aware, highly persuasive and thoughtful, making people comfortable and happy to go along with their thoughts and suggestions. They rarely say the wrong thing. Charisma is like being witty or clever – you either have it or you don’t - or so we are led to believe.
Happy to dispel the myth is Nikki Owen, a bright, articulate and charismatic woman in her own right. Thrust into the spotlight at an early age, Nikki quickly became fascinated by the subject of charisma and was determined to understand what made charismatic people ‘tick’.
More than a quarter of a decade on, she believes she has found the answer, and most importantly, that having charisma is something that can be learned.
Through studying the actions and behaviour of charismatic (and not so charismatic) people, together with exploring and understanding quantum physics, psychology and other esoteric principles, Nikki developed a series of exercises, discussions and experiments that can help unleash hidden charisma, leaving individuals motivated and inspired to enjoy life more, achieve their potential and with luck, fulfil their dreams. Following an extensive modelling project with several high profile celebrities/ people in the public eye, Nikki now offers a programme that is available to anyone who wishes to explore the benefits of increasing their charisma, whether for personal or professional reasons.
The two day seminar held in the Balcony Room at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, takes a small group of delegates through a fascinating journey, opening minds to new levels of self as well as awareness of others. Through techniques such as Dowsing, Quantum Physics, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Kinesiology and Reike, Nikki has managed to capture a unique way of easily explaining the principles of charisma thus demonstrating how even the smallest changes to thoughts and behaviour can lead to individuals being able to enhance and develop their charismatic profile.
Nikki is very clear about what she wants to achieve for her delegates. “Anyone attending the course should be able to leave with increased confidence and self-belief to empower and impress others. They will be able to recognise the impact their thoughts have on their behaviour and gauge the impact they have on others, knowing when to turn up or down their level of charisma. Most importantly, they will learn that charisma is only really effective when they are being authentic, and they will know value of remaining true to their own beliefs.” She said.
Attending a course in June, Rob Pardon, who works in Training and Development for Initial Washroom Solutions said: “Being a massively dominant logical brainer, [which was very soon identified on the course] the two days had a varying impact on me. Some exercises proved useful and interesting, whilst others were inspiring, provocative and awe-inspiring. I found myself accessing completely new emotional and spiritual territory and genuinely felt an increased personal gravitas as a result. I know for some people on the course the impact was life-changing.”
Another delegate, Stephanie, a Change Business Partner for AXA PP said: “I have to say that for a couple of exercises I couldn’t explain how they work to make a difference. All I can tell you is that they do and you know they do when you’re there. It isn’t something that you leave behind at the end either. I know I feel different, even today several weeks on. The feeling isn’t as intense but I know it’s there and I believe it has changed the way I am in a subtle way. I have had several people comment on how I appear brighter, lifted and more relaxed.”
For anyone who genuinely wants to significantly enhance their charismatic presence within a 48-hour period, this seminar aims to show you how. For individuals to learn to incorporate all the external effects of charisma would take weeks of intensive study. Instead, by going to the heart of the matter, anyone can be charismatic, quickly and with dramatic impact.
The next Audience with Charisma takes place on October 15th and 16th at the Globe. Further dates are available throughout 2010. Nikki Owen is also available for one to one consultations. For further information visit www.audiencewithcharisma.com or telephone 0845 4348259.
